| JEDI MASTERS
Bodo Baas
Bodo Baas was part of a Jedi group that lived in the Adega system, six hundred years before the destruction of the first Death Star. Eventially becoming a Jedi Master, Bodo inherited a Jedi Holocron, a glowing cube which held stories of Jedi of the past. Master Boda recorded his stories and those of other Jedi onto the holocron so that future generations of Jedi could use their knowledge and benefit from the wealth of experience contained within.
A holocron can only be activated by the touch of a force user, once activated a "Gatekeeper" would tell stories of ancient Jedi and give lessons on the Force. The Gatekeeper could interact with the user and could answer questions with relative stories. Bodo Baas became the Gatekeeper for his holocron.
During the great purge of the Jedi, Emperor Palpentine had Bodo Baas executed for "crimes against
the Empire" and the holocron was taken to Wayland. Though the Emperor could listen to most of the
stories contained within the holocron, he could not access those stories only reserved for Jedi using the Light side of the Force.
Bodo Baas had an ancestor Vodo-Siosk Baas, the Jedi Master who trained the Evil Exar Kun.
Vodo-Siosk joined Luke Skywalker and his trainees on Yavin 4, to destroy Exar Kun forever.
Jedi Holocron's exist throughout the galaxy, although most are hidden for fear the Emperor
Palpentine would destroy them. The vast wealth of knowledge contained within these small glowing cubes is a vital resource to the New Republic.
Mace Windu
The wisdom and self-sacrifice of Mace Windu, senior member of the Jedi Council, is legendary. In a long and adventurous career, he has repeatedly risked his life to resolve great conflicts in fairness to both sides.
Windu is sober and cool-minded but is also capable of dramatic action in the face of danger. Even experienced Jedi look to this great man in times of serious trouble. Always ready to risk himself, Mace Windu is reluctant to risk the lives of others. In particular, he is wary of fellowJedi, Qui-Gon Jinn's headstrong belief in Anakin Skywalkers, and senses great danger with the boy.
These concerns weigh heavily upon him as he considers them against his friendship and respect for Qui-Gon.
Yoda
Well into his 800s, Yoda is the oldest member of the Jedi High Council, as well as its most deeply perceptive Master.
A great traveller in his younger years, Yoda has quietly visited hundreds of worlds on his own, spending years learning different lifeways and appreciating the infinity variable nuances of the Force.
His experiences have made him cautious and reflective.

Yoda recogninizes their considerable strength and potential even as he disagrees with some of their "dangerously reckless" choices.
Yarael Poof
A Jedi Master and member of the renowned Jedi Council who possesses the ability to conjure mental illusions. Yarael Poof is a Quermian, a sentient invertebrate with a long neck and four arms. Like all members of this species, his olfactory glands are located in his hands and a lower brain can be found in his chest. In combat, Poof prefers to use the Force to conjure images of whatever most terrifies his opponents. He finds that this tactic ends battles quickly and with very little violence.
Saesee Tiin
An Iktotchi pilot, Saesee Tiin is best able to focus while travelling at high speeds - at the controls of the finest spacecraft.
He offers a unique a unique perspective on the Council as his telepathic mind is always racing ahead to foresee possibilities.
Even Piell
Jedi Master Even Piell bears a scar across his eye as a grisly trophy of a victory against terrorists who made a mistake of underestimating the diminutive Jedi Master.
Ki-Adi-Mundi
A Jedi Knight from a largely unspoiled paradise world of Cerea, Ki-Adi-Mundi's high-domed head holds a complex binary brain. Recently added to the Council, Ki-Adi-Mundi has not yet taken a Padawan learner.
Eeth Koth
Iridonian Zabrak such as Eeth Koth are renowned for their mental discipline, which allows them to tolerate great physical suffering.
This ability is born of surviving their harsh world.
Oppo Rancisis
Abdicating his throne on Thisspias, Oppo Rancisis instead sought to serve the entire galaxy among the Jedi order based on Coruscant.
When negotiations fail, Rancisis ensures that Jedi-counselled military tactics are cunning and effective.
Depa Billaba
Adopting the traditional culture of Chalacta to honour her slain parents, Depa Billaba offers an ordered perspective to the wide-ranging minds of the Council.
Adi Gallia
Born into a highly placed diplomatic family stationed on Coruscant, the intuitive Adi Gallia often seems to know what people are about to say.
Gallia has many contacts throughout the Coruscant political machine, making her one of the Supreme Chancellor's most valuable intelligence sources.
Plo Koon
A Kel Dor from Dorin, Plo Koon must protect his sensitive eyes and nostrils from the oxygen-rich atmosphere of Coruscant with special devices.
Yaddle

Yaddle silently waits in discussions before offering her single, powerful, softly spoken comment.
Qui-Gon Jinn
An accomplished Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn travels the galaxy to protect the citizens of the Republic and uphold justice from system to system. Other Jedi Masters often use Jinn's focused sensitivity to the Force as an example for their pupils. Qui-Gon Jinn's own apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is always at his side, and learns from his wisdom and experience.
Jedi Master Jinn possesses strong features and a piercing gaze. Powerfully built and speaking in a grave and determined voice, he has a very intimidating presence. He wears his long hair tied back so as not to obstruct his peripheral vision. Although a little past his prime, he remains a powerful warrior and a very active Jedi Knight.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Trained by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, young Obi-Wan Kenobi is an excellent apprentice. His skills are already quite impressive, and Master Jinn is proud of his pupil's quick thinking and resourcefulness. He is not a Jedi yet, but his training is almost complete. His dedication to the Jedi way and the nobility of his character deeply honor the efforts of his mentor.
In accordance with tradition for human apprentices, Obi-Wan wears his hair short and even, except for a long, thin braid, and a small ponytail. He has constructed his blue-bladed lightsaber himself, as part of his training. His shoulders are covered with the traditional Jedi cloak.
Obi-Wan admires and respects Qui-Gon Jinn, even though there are times when Kenobi doesn't completely agree with his master's point of view. Young Kenobi's focus is beyond the moment, and he is inclined toward strict observance of the rules laid down by the Jedi Council.
Obi-Wan's first meeting with the boy Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine sets him on a path of destiny that will have tremendous repercussions for the entire galaxy.
DARK LORDS OF SITH
Marka Ragnos
Ragnos was the 9th Dark Lord of the Sith and he ruled the Sith Empire for over two centuries. He was so strong in the Force, that he was able to contact others through spirit. After his death, large disputes occured over who would be the heir to the throne. Many Sith Lords fought for the throne, but Ludo Kressh and Naga Shadow were the strongest competitors. They began a duel to the death in order to determine the righfull heir. After the fighting began, Ragnos' spirit appeared and told the combatants tales of their ancestors and the ancient ages. He told them of a great change in the future and warned them that if they continued their squabbles the entire Sith Empire would crumble. The he disapeared for many thousands of years. Years later, Ragnos appeared again years later and chose Exar Kun as the eleventh Dark Lord of the Sith and Ulic Qel-Droma as his apprentice. Much of Marka Ragnos' history was destroyed or hidden so his existense was unknown except by a select few.
Naga Sadow
Naga Sadow was competing for the title of Dark Lord of the Sith after the death of Marka Ragnos. He defeated his opponent, Ludo Kressh and went on to become the tenth Dark Lord of the Sith. Sadow was overthrown when, upon returning from the war, discovered the Ludo Kressh, thinking him dead, had declared himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith. Sadow was exiled and fled the wordl after being pursued Kressh's followers.
During the battle, Sadow ordered one of his ships to ram Kressh's ship and Ludo was killed. Empress Teta attempted to trap Sadow with a battle fleet but he ordered the Sith followers to attack their lords and Sadow escaped the trap.
Sadow destroyed the double-star system of Denarii Nova on his escape route to Yavin 4. He used his Sith powers to warp his followers into the Massassi. Sadow used a powerfull Sith amulet to create hideous and dangerous creatures to guard him from intruders. Years later, Exar Kun defeated one of these creatures and stole Sadow's mysterious Sith amulet.
Ludo Kressh
Ludo Kressh was the Sith Lord challenging Naga Shadow for the title of Dark Lord of the Sith.
When Sadow arrived late for Ragnos' funeral and declared himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith, Kressh was very angry. He challenged Sadow to a duel but they were interrupted by the spirit of Marka Ragnos. They ignored Ragnos' advice and fought until Sadow was declared the winner and the new Dark Lord of the Sith. Kressh waited patiently for his chance to take over the throne and his chance came when Sadow went off to fight the Republic.
When Sadow did not return, Kressh thought him dead and was declared the eleventh Dark Lord of the Sith.
When Sadow returned, he was exiled by Kressh and their minions fought in a great battle. In the end, oone of Sadow's ships rammed into Kressh's flagship and Kressh was killed
Freedon Nadd
Freedon Nadd was one of the most powerfull Sith magicians in history. Nadd hoped one day to become a Dark Lord of the Sith but when it was clear that he would not be chosen, Nadd fled to the planet Onderon in search of a planet he could rule.
Nadd used the planet as focus for Dark Side powers and many Force users were drawn there by his sorcery. Upon death, Nadd's body was mummified and placed on the moon of Dxun. After many centuries, Nadd's spirit rose from the grave to unite a rebellion of Dark Side users on Onderon. The rebellion was later quelled by the Jedi Knight Ulic Qel-Droma.
For many years Nadd's spirit remained trapped on Dxun and waited for someone to free him. The Jedi Knight Exar Kun, led by Nadd's followers, discovered Freedon's spirit haunting the tombs. Nadd tried to use Kun to restore his power but Kun realized what Nadd's true plans were.
Kun used the Sith amulet made by Naga Shadow to disentigrate Freedon Nadd's spirt, destroying him forever.
Exar Kun
Exar Kun was first a Jedi apprentice under the instruction of Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. Exar Kun, lived as one of the earliest Dark Lords of the Sith, four thousand years before Anakin Skywalker turned to the Dark side of the Force. On Dantooine, Exar Kun learned the way of the Force from his master Vodo-Siosk Baas. He pushed himself hard, but felt that he was excellent jedi. Kun used his master's holocron to access information on the mysteries and legends of the Sith. Baas was disturbed to find his promising student studying the way of the Sith.
Kun soon fully turned to the Dark Side and used his anger against his fellow students and his master. Kun had two fellow students Crado and Sylvar, he did not like either of them because Kun believed
that even sentient animals did not make good Jedi. One day during a Lightsaber duel Kun provolked
Sylvar until she lost her temper and slashed Kun's right cheekwith her claws. Kun lost his temper and
tried to kill the Cathar after she accused him of not being a true Jedi. Master Vodo-Siosk stepped in
to prevent Kun killing Sylvar, challenging him to a duel armed only with a walking stick. At first Kun
could not defeat the Jedi Master, however Kun picked up a second Lightsaber and broke Vodo's walking stick.
Master Vodo could see how close his student was to the dark side. A month passed and Exar Kun fled his master to follow the teachings of Sith Lord Freedon Nadd after his first uprising had ended. Leaving
Dantooine travelling to Onderon, Kun, posing as a Jedi archeologist. Kun was led to Nadd's tomb by the Sith Lord's former followers and discovered Freedon's spirit haunting his crypt. Kun gained access to the Dark Sith
Lord Freedon Nadd's Tomb. There he confronted Nadd's spirit and was led to two scrolls which
detailed the secret of the Sith resting place.
Kun translated the Dark scrolls and was soon on the desolate planet of Korribun. With the aid of
Freedon Nadd's spirit Kun gained access to the planets Sith tombs. Kun began to have second
thoughts as the light side of his spirit fought for control. Nadd trapped the young Jedi in the tomb and
attacked Kun leaving him broken and diying. Kun reached across the galaxy with a force call to his
Master Vodo-Siosk, when Baas arrived to help his student to the light side he was turned away. The
immense dark shadow that surrounded Kun's body and spirit was too much for the Jedi Master.
Nadd offered Kun a chance to live, if the young Jedi embraced the Dark side fully Nadd would heal
Kun's body. Kun betrayed the Light side to live as a servant of the Dark side the internal battle of
light against dark sending force ripples across the whole galaxy.
With faulty promises of shared power, Nadd trapped Kun and severed all of his links to the Light Side of the Force forever. Kun then fled to the moon of Yavin 4 where Lord Naga Shadow was residing. However, Nadd had arrived on the moon first. Kun shunned away Nadd's help and the Dark Side and the warped-Sith Massassi captured Kun in an attempt to killl him. However, one of the Massassi creatures escaped and attacked Exar Kun and, using the Dark Side, stripped the creature of Sadow's powerfull Sith Amulet. Kun used the amulet to kill the creature and then Freedon Nadd after he tried to interfere.
The Massassi were now loyal to him and he forced them to construct huge temples in honor of him and the Sith power.
Upon hearing of a Sith imposter in the citadel of Empress Teta, Kun and a few of his Massassi followers traveled to the citadel with a mission to slay the imposter. The "imposter" was really Ulic Qel-Droma and the two warriors engaged in a vicious duel. The battle was evenly matched until the spirit of Marka Ragnos appeared and named Exar Kun as the twelth Dark Lord of the Sith and Qel-Droma was named as his apprentice in the hopes of a new Sith Empire.
Kun considered himself, Qel-Droma and his Massassi warriors to be invulnerable so they began attacks on the Republic. Kun gained the trust and assistance of many old enemies and Sith followers as they united to strike a common enemy. Qel-Droma and Kun each led a portion of the troops and the following battles were known as the Sith War. On one occasion, Qel-Droma was captured by the Republic but Kun managed to storm the Republic stronghold and rescue his apprentice. He also attacked the Jedi fortress, killing his former master in the assualt. Kun's greatest failure was the trust he put in Ulic Qel-Droma. In a rage, Qel-Droma killed his brother and was stripped of his Force skills by the Jedi Knight Nomi Sunrider.
In repentance, Qel-Droma led the Jedi to Kun's fortresses on the moon of Yavin 4. In the following attack, many of the Sith followers were killed and to prevent his own death Kun drained the life out of all his Massassi warriors to keep his soul alive, however trapped, within the walls of the temple. He remained there for 4,000 years until Luke Skywalker began his Jedi Academy on the moon. Kun attempted to seduce and kill some of Luke's students but the Dark Lord of the Sith's spirit was finally destroyed as the trainees united to defeat him. This marked the end of the Sith empire forever.
Ulic Qel-Droma
Ulic Qel-Droma began his study in the Force as a Jedi under the teaching of Master Arca Jeth on the planet Onderon.
He served the Republic along side his brother, Cay Qel-Droma.
Ulic was a warrior fighting in the Beast Wars on Onderon and was critical in preventing Freedon Nadd from regaining ultimate power. When his master was killed in a surprise attack by Sith magicians Satal and Aleema Keto from the Empress Teta System, Ulic vowed to avenge his master's death.
Ignoring the advice of his peers, Qel-Droma fled to the Empress Teta system in an attempt to conquer the Dark Side.
But Ulic was young and naive and he instead was seduced by the Dark Side and fell under the control of the Sith influence. He was given a Sith Amulet by Aleema and then was confronted by Exar Kun. The two began a vigoruous duel until they were halted by the spirt of Marka Ragnos. Ragnos declared Kun as the new Dark Lord of the Sith and Qel-Droma his apprentice.
The two Sith Lords fought side by side in the Sith Wars.
At one point, Ulic was captured by the Republic but Kun rescued him before he could be tried for his crimes. In the end, Qel-Droma killed his own brother in rage and was stripped of his Force powers by Nomi Sunrider. In guilt, Ulic led the Jedi to Kun's fortress on Yavin 4, were the Sith Lord was finally defeated.
Darth Bane
Darth Bane's identity was not discovered until a short time ago and there is still no recovered photo record of the Sith Lord. Information on him is vague but some facts have been recovered. Darth Bane was a very intelligent and powerfull Dark Jedi who understood the value of traits like patience, cunning, stealth, and subterfuge.
While the Sith Wars were waging strong, Bane waited in the shadows until the time was right to reveal himself. Soon the entire Sith order had been wiped out, due to the greed and power-hunger of the Sith Lords themselves and the Jedi who mopped up the surviviors. Then there was only one. Darth Bane took this time to come out of hiding and he declared himself the Dark Lord of the Sith of the new Sith Order.
His goal was to keep the Sith alive and strong while the Jedi were oblivious to their existence. His order declared that there would be only two Sith at a time, the master and the apprentice. This ended the threat of a fate similar to the fall of the original Sith Empire so the Sith could now wait until the time was right to strike at the Jedi, their true enemies. Thsi sustained the Sith for thousnads of years while the Jedi thought them to be extinct. Darth Bane's fate is unknown but his legacy still lives strong.
Darth Sidious - Senetor/Emperor Palpatine
A native of the planet Naboo, Palpatine worked his way up in politics to become that sector's senator on the Galactic Senate. However, unbeknownst to everyone, Palpatine, being very Force-attuned, had also secretly learned the ways of the Sith and its arts and religion and had become a Dark Lord of Sith: Darth Sidious. Following the traditions of Darth Bane, he apprenticed a Zabrak named Khameir Sarin, who later created the alias, Darth Maul, a terrifying and powerful Dark Lord of Sith. Meanwhile, Palpatine played on both sides to gain all the power he could. As a Dark Lord he began building his dark empire, scheming and causing problems to the rest of the galaxy. As senator he feigned to solve those same problems while at the same time gaining more political support. As Darth Sidious, he used his awesome stature and fear, to cement his position as the secret head of a powerful organization, called the Trade Federation. The Trade Federation was mainly composed of a race called the Neimoudians, tall and calm, but ugly and idiotic as well. Sidious ordered the figurehead of the Federation, Nute Gunray, to cut off all trade with the planet Naboo and begin a trade embargo, for reasons unknown. Becoming a senator, once again, he rallied and argued for the relief and disruption of the blockade. However, the Senate could not decided what to do, since it was weak with corruption, and one side wanted to leave it alone and the other to help Naboo. And so, for safekeeping, they sent two ambassadors to Naboo, to negotiate between the two people. They were two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Palpatine therefore became desperate, ordering the invasion of Naboo. What he wanted was the infamous cloning technology which the young ruler, Queen Amidala, used to make a decoy in order to protect herself. The reason he wanted this was so that he could begin cloning troops to create a standing army of Sith. The Federation captured the queen, but the Jedi Knights, who were also ordered killed, escaped from the Neimoudians and came to her rescue. Darth Sidious, enraged that his key witnessess had escaped, realized that the Neimoudians were fools and could not be relied on. He ordered Darth Maul to find the Jedi and kill them. Maul, being a devout Dark Lord, vigorously began to hunt down the small party. He finally found the band on Tatooine. He launched a small surprise attack, on them, just as Jedi Knight Jinn was about to get on board his ship. But Jinn realized what he had come into contact with: a Dark Lord, so fled the duel, by jumping onto the closing platform of the Naboo ship. And so, Maul vowed again, to bring them down.
The two Jedi Knights escorted the Queen to Coruscant, letting her speak in front of the Senate. However, the claim of invasion caused a great division in the Galactic Senate, as some believed Amidala's and Palpatine's plea to help their planet, while others believed that investigation was necessary before action. When the ruling Supreme Chancellor Valorum decided to investigate instead of defend, the Queen of Naboo, feeling for her suffering people, decided to begin a process of impeachment against the Chancellor, with a "no-confidence" vote. Senator Palpatine, having many friends, became one of the nominees. The result was his being elected to Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, thus replacing the former Chancellor Valorum. However, before Palpatine's victory was complete, Amidala, Jinn, and Kenobi returned to Naboo, where they faced Maul once more. The Dark Lord managed to kill Qui-Gon, but Obi-Wan, in great anger, killed Maul, after catching him by surprise. And so, Darth Sidious/Palpatine needed to find another apprentice to continue the Sith line.
There was good news. Anakin Skywalker, a slave whom Qui-Gon had found and freed on Tatooine, had a secret not even he himself knew about. As a blood-test confirmed, his midi-chlorian levels were unsurpassed and unheard of. Also, another mystery was wrapped around him. Young Skywalker had no father. Soon, it was believed that he was concieved by midi-chlorians, themselves. Chancellor Palpatine secretly watched the young padawan as he was trained by Kenobi. Anakin soon became a hero, as he was a daring and ace starpilot and foremost in various other things. However, during this time, Palpatine's other personality, Darth Sidious, was secretly meeting with Anakin, preaching about and seducing the young Jedi with the Dark Side. As Skywalker became more and more evil, his universe that he lived in, was becoming more and more evil, as well. As Supreme Chancellor, Palpatine became even greedier than ever. So, one day, he suddenly pronounced himself as the Emperor of the Galactic Empire, which spanned the entire galaxt. Then, to stifle all opposition, the new Emperor disbanded the Galactic Senate. As Emperor, he had great powers over things, and soon he began to lure in the now Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker with promises of power and wealth. As everyone realized the true meaning of the new Empire, so did Anakin Skywalker. As he turned more and more towards the ways of the Dark Side, his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, confronted him near a lava pit. Here, the two fought, upon which Anakin fell into the pit. Obi-Wan, greatly saddened, believed that his friend was dead and went back home. However, a badly burned, barely living, and very much angry Anakin Skywalker was rescued by the Emperor. Agreeing to turn to the Dark Side and become the Emperor's apprentice, Anakin was filled with the magic of Sith by the Emperor. To replace his badly burned body, Anakin was encased in a cybernetic suit, complete with all the life-sustaining capabilities and blaster-proof plastoid armor. Anakin requested the black colour and the cape, to turn his image into a menacing one, completing his journey to the Dark Side and becoming the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.
Together, the two great Dark Lords waged a furious war against the Jedi of the entire galaxy, initiating the Great Jedi Purge, in which they killed almost all of the Jedi in existence. As he did, he also expanded his Empire, researching new and greater technology and recruiting more and more people. As one of his most abominable deeds, he built an enormous cloning facility on the planet Byss. Perhaps becoming paranoid, due to the effects of tapping into vast amounts of the Dark Side as he had, he surrounded himself with personal bodyguards: the crimson Imperial Royal Guards; a personal assassin: Mara Jade; and of course, his loyal apprentice: Darth Vader.
Unknownst to the Emperor, Anakin's wife, Queen Amidala of Naboo, had two children, Luke Skywalker and Leia Skywalker. She and Obi-Wan decided that they should hide them from their dark father, and so, Luke was sent to his father's brother's place, Uncle Ben and Aunt Beru. There, he became a second-hand on a moisture farm on Tatooine. The daughter, Leia Skywalker, was sent to Alderaan and adopted by Senator Bail Organa, one of the candidates of Chancellorship. Leia Skywalker became Leia Organa thus did the two Skywalker children become hidden.
Then, a small group of people banded together to form the Rebel Alliance, vowing to bring down the Empire, which was the cause of so much distruction of the galaxy. The leader was Mon Mothma, a wise and graceful senator who distrusted Palpatine from the beginning. The Emperor ordered the Rebellion crushed and would not accept failure. However, the Rebel Alliance gradually grew larger, and failures became common. The Emperor did not accept failure lightly and killed everyone who was responisble for failure. He put his apprentice, Darth Vader, in charge. Vader, too, would not accept failure, and a great many admirals felt his wrath as they were choked to death, by the strong grip of Dark Side. As this small band of rebels grew, more and more people joined it, including the son and daughter of Skywalker, and Han Solo. The Emperor felt a disturbance in the Force, along with Darth Vader. After much investigation, the Emperor learned that Vader had a son, Luke Skywalker, who had joined the Rebellion. This was the opportunity for more power which the Emperor wanted. The Emperor believed that if he could turn Luke to the Dark Side, his power would grow even stronger, as he could feed of of two Skywalker's Force powers. He ordered Vader to get his son to turn to the Dark Side. But what he didn't know, was that Vader already knew that he had a son and he had always been plotting to overthrow the Emperor with his son, as the next Dark Lord of Sith. And this, the Emperor did not foresee. Darth Vader also made a mistake. He assumed that his son would willingly join him. But, when Darth Vader confronted Luke and told him the truth about his father and invited the young Jedi apprentice to join him and rule the galaxy, the young Skywalker, remained true to the teachings of his master, the great Jedi Master Yoda. And so, the startled Darth Vader, could not bring himself to kill the young Jedi, his son. Later, when Skywalker was brought to the Emperor, he was electrocuted by the Emperor's Force Lightning. But, as he was being electrocuted, Luke managed to plead to his father to save him. The Dark Lord of Sith heard, and the tiny part of his mechanical heart which was still human, took over his body. Shrugging off the immense pain of electrocution, Darth Vader picked up the Emperor, who was too busy seething in rage to notice the change in his apprentice, and threw him down a deep ventilation shaft.
The Rebellion rejoiced at this and the New Republic came about. However, unknown to many, Palpatine had a secret cloning chamber on the planet Byss. And there, he had utilized Sparti Cloning Cylinders left over from the Clone Wars. The Emperor had the foresight to clone himself: he had millions of young clones of himself, that he had created for such a disaster. Just before his bodily death, Palpatine, using ancient Sith magic, transfered his soul to one of these clones. And so, six years after his "death", Palpatine reappeared with a new army and waged war, using even more destructive weapons such as the Galaxy Gun, against the New Republic. When Luke Skywalker, promising to destroy the Empire from within, came to him, the Emperor took advantage of the young Jedi. This time he succeeded in turning Skywalker to the Dark Side, but only temporarily. Skywalker was turned back to the Light Side and counter-attacked. Luke confronted him in a final duel, while Han Solo destroyed the cloning facility on Byss. The Emperor, knowing his time had come, made a final bid for life and tried to jump into the body of Anakin Solo, one of the two Solo twins standing near Luke at the time of his death. But the brave, but dying King forced the Emperor into his own body, in order to save the child. And thus, Emperor Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, was no more.
Jorus C'Baoth
Jorus C'Baoth was born on the planet Botras in the Reithcas sector. Jorus was a very promising
young Jedi, starting his studies at seventeen he attended the Mirnic University. Upon his Graduation he traveled to the Jedi Training Center on Kamparas. For two years he trained at the center until a
Jedi Master took him on as a private student. After another two years of training jorus attained the
rank of Jedi Knight.
Twelve years later Jorus attained the status of Jedi Master.
Jorus was a firm supporter of the Old Republic, serving as part of a demilitarization group stationed
on Ando. Jorus was also a member of the Senate Interspicies Advisory Commitee, or SIAC, he was
also the personal advisor of an ambitious young senetor Palpentine. C'Baoth joined the jedi task force that assembled to oppose the dark Jedi uprising on Bpfassh.
C'Baoth's other achievements are equally impressive, he helped the Jedi Master Tra's M'ins
meditate the Duinuogwuin-Gotal conflict. C'Baoth's evential downfall was his support of the Old
Republics outbound flight project, to search for intelligent life outside the galaxy proper. A young
man named Thrawn destroyed the shuttle carrying the outbound group according to Senetor Palpentines instructions.
Darth Maul
Born as Khameir Sarin, a Zabrakian, on the planet of Iridonia, he showed great strength, stamina, and most of all, a strong attunation to the Force. When Darth Sidious went out looking for an apprentice, he found Sarin, at the age of 12, on Iridonia. At that young age, Sidious began training the young Zabrakian in the ways of the Force, Dark Side of course. He also taught him the ancient black arts of Sith. Becoming a greatly adept with the Force and martial arts, Darth Sidious was pleased and granted Khameir Sarin as a Dark Lord of Sith. Sarin promptly took on an alias, becoming forever known as Darth Maul. From there, he tatooed his face with black and red. His horns, trademark of all Zabrakian, only added to his menacing image.
His dangerous mentality only grew, as he continued to train in the ways of the Force and delve in the dark religion of Sith. On the side, Darth Maul constantly trained himself in martial arts, obsessed with becoming the best fighter in the history of Sith. His ambition grew to embrace learning how to fight with a lightsaber, as he made his own. Although he closely followed many Sith traditions and protocols, Darth Maul still wanted more. And soon, he built a double-bladed lightsaber, and constantly trained himself to wield the novel weapon with deadly accuracy, getting better each time. Never, would a person be able to wield such a weapon, unless completely dedicated to the ways of the Sith. With his complete dedication to the Dark Side, Maul became an expert with his double bladed lightsaber. Besides his complete devotion to martial arts, he was also a loyal Apprentice, until death. He would give his entire time and effort to complete the objectives laid out for him. And seeing this devotion, Darth Sidious entrusted Darth Maul with the most delicate of missions, since he knew that Darth Maul was not one to fail, nor one to lose.
Darth Maul first appeared to the public during the trade embargo of Naboo. Here, he was the quiet, but ever-dangerous apprentice of Darth Sidious, the menacing influence of the vast Trade Federation. Then, the Galactic Senate sent two ambassadors to Naboo; Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn, and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. When the Head of the Trade Federation, the Nimoudian Nute Gunray, told Sidious of this new threat, the Dark Lord ordered the two ambassadors killed. But before the security droids could finish the job, the two Jedi hid among the invasion force and landed on Naboo. After landing, the two Jedi found themselves hunted men, since Gunray had sounded the alarm that the two were missing on the battlecruiser. The two evaded the droids and came to the Naboo palace, rescuing the Queen. From there, the party left and entered outer space, only to meet the huge Trade Federation blockade. Soon, the tiny royal transport was hit, since, thousands of laser bolts rained upon them. But a brave R2 unit (R2-D2), fixed the ship, as fellow droids were sent off, flying into space, by laser bolts. Thus, the ship escaped and went to Tatooine.
Sensing failure, Darth Sidious sent his Dark Lord apprentice to seek and destroy the two Jedi. Darth Maul found and cornered the entire party on the planet of Tatooine, and fought a brief lightsaber duel, which Qui-Gon instantly began to lose. But, in the nick of time, the newly-found Anakin Skywalker went on board telling the ship to take off. The Jedi managed to escape by jumping up on the closing landing ramp of the Naboo royal ship. An angry Maul, knowing the taste of failure, was then sent by Darth Sidious to Naboo, to keep an eye on the leaders of the Trade Federation. However, Jinn and Kenobi were also headed to Naboo, to bring back the queen of Naboo and to free the planet from Federation control. As the small Naboo army prepared to enter the palace, the enormous doors mysteriously opened. There, standing in the middle of the huge doorway, was Darth Maul, himself. Finally, the Sith had revealed itself to the Jedi. And, to Maul, finally, would the he exact revenge upon the Jedi, avenging his ancestors for their deaths at the hands of the Jedi. And so, at the starfighter hanger, did Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi encounter Darth Maul once more. But, no sooner had they wielded their lightsabers, Darth Maul presented his lightsaber. To the curious eyes of Jinn and Kenobi, the Dark Lord held his lightsaber in one hand and held it out to the two Jedi. To their amazement, a second blade came out the other end. And in this fashion, did Darth Maul present his double-bladed lightsaber for the first time.
In the duel, Darth Maul held his own against the two Jedi simultaneously. Reaching a series of timed force-field doors, Maul waited until Kenobi was trapped in one of them and then struck down Jinn, smiling inwardly, as he saw the young Jedi apprentice watching his master die. Once the force-field opened, an enraged Kenobi charged the Dark Lord, attacking with more ferocity than ever and ended up cleaving Maul's lightsaber in two. Darth Maul promptly threw away one side of it and used the remaining half like a regular lightsaber. And then, after ferocious attacks on his part, he made Obi-Wan lose his balance and fall into an incinerator pit. In the fall, Kenobi lost his lightsaber, but, by luck, he caught ontal a small, portruding knob and held on. The Dark Lord maliciously tortured the young Jedi Knight, showering him with sparks, as he slowly scraped his lightsaber against the pit wall. After hanging there for minutes, the Jedi Kniht, using the Force, jumped out of the pit, retrieving Qui-Gon's lightsaber in mid-air. He landed right in front of the Dark Lord, catching him by surprise. Taking advantage of that shred of a second of sheer startlement, Kenobi cut him in half, sending the Dark Lord of Sith's body tumbling down a ventilation shaft. Thus ending the reign of Darth Maul.
Darth Vader - Anakin Skywalker
When Anakin Skywalker came under the tutelage of Senator Palpatine, he was led down the path to the Dark Side of The Force. Despite the teachings of his friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin felt that the teachings of Palpatine led to quicker realization of the powers of The Force. This forced Kenobi to confront Anakin, and in a lightsaber duel, Kenobi forced Anakin into a pit of molten rock. It was at this point that Anakin Skywalker was consumed by the Dark Side. He was rescued from the fire by the descendants of the Sith, and reborn as Darth Vader.
In order for the Sith to keep Anakin alive, they had to create a life support system that encased his entire body. It had to recreate certain limbs, as well as keep his lungs functioning. At the Emperor's direction, the Sith made the life-support suit as evil-looking as they could. The all-black body armor became Vader's main weapon, as it instilled fear in all who saw it.
The Sith also began training Vader in the ancient Sith lore, and Vader became the last of the Sith Dark Lords. As such, he became even more Palpatine's tool, able to create fear just by the mention of his name and the mysterious Sith teachings behind it.
Palpatine sent Vader to support Grand Moff Tarkin during the time when the first Death Star was being readied for use. Vader oversaw the mission to recover the stolen plans, but was unable to get Princess Leia to divulge their location. He used the Millennium Falcon as a guide, and followed the fleeing ship to Yavin 4, only to lose the Death Star to the Alliance. Vader's ship was disabled during the battle, but he regained control. When the Emperor heard of the destruction of the first Death Star, he removed Vader's living right hand as punishment, and replaced it with a cybernetic prosthesis.
Shortly thereafter, Vader went to Circarpous V to investigate the appearance of Leia Organa on the planet, as well as to locate the Kaiburr crystal. In an amazing duel with Luke Skywalker, Vader was hard-pressed to defeat Luke. Luke succeeded in defeating Vader, and even cut off the Dark Lord's right arm with his own lightsaber. In his dazed state, Vader fell into a sacrificial weel on the Temple of Pomojema and was lost. He survived, however, drawing on the Dark Side of the Force for support and strength.
Once Palpatine was aware that Anakin Skywalker's son had survived and posed a possible threat to the Empire, he told Vader of the existence of Luke Skywalker, in an effort to completely gain control of any vestiges of Anakin Skywalker and convert them to Darth Vader. However, this plan backfired on Palpatine, as the remnants of Anakin began to surface. Following the relevation of Luke's relationship to Anakin, and the loss of Luke at Cloud City, Palpatine began to give Vader menial tasks, and tried to keep him away from Luke. He could not, however, and the part of Vader that was still Anakin continued to assert itself.
The Battle of Endor was a turning point for Darth Vader. It was then that Luke Skywalker surrendered to Vader, and began to try and turn the Dark Lord back to the Light Side. The darker parts of Vader resisted, but Luke's love and devotion to his father strengthened the spirit of Anakin. When the Emperor was forced to kill Luke, Anakin was awakened, and with Vader's mechanized strength, he threw the Emperor into a power shaft, destroying Palpatine and the Empire. Darth Vader also ceased to exist at this point, as Anakin was able to return from the Dark Side. However, the struggle with the Emperor left the life support systems inoperable, and Anakin died before Luke could save him.
